Say hello to the physical demo box for Stone Clouds of the Eastern Sky! Just last month we were showing off some of the proofs, and after expediting the order we have two demo boxes on hand and plan to order a couple more soon. We also redesigned some 3D printed organizers for the cards so that it all fits nicely in the new box and it is just waiting for a properly sized rulebook to fill in the gaps.

The demo boxes have definitely given the prototype a professional facelift, and it has been fun to start showing it off for new playtests. It has also been good from a manufacturing side getting to see all of the colors on printed materials (instead of just on a screen), and we’ve identified a few tweaks we’ll want to do there.

Otherwise, most of the work has been focused on the demo units, and in particular we’re working on some tools to help streamline getting the card files in the right format. Once we get that a little further along the focus will shift toward more crowdfunding centric tasks.
