During a game of Project Aleutian, another type of card that you will encounter is an event card. Event cards are one-time occurrences that trigger effects more powerful than the standard ability cards.  

The top banner of the card includes the symbol for the event triggered along with a description of the event’s effect at the bottom. These cards are typically found in either the espionage or stone cloud decks and represent an encounter between nations while in pursuit of the stone cloud. Whether the effect is the result of deliberate work to interfere with others or a serendipitous discovery on the stone cloud, it will cause a shift in the state of the game. 

Since Project Aleutian is still a prototype, the graphic design, layout, and art on the cards are preliminary and subject to change. Artwork for cards marked with a “?” is still in development.
